Dr Hage is an orthopaedic surgeon specialized in adult joint reconstruction and replacement.
He received his training at Saint Joseph University, Paris V and Paris VI Universities and holds a European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology as well as a Masters in Biomechanics.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the AO Trauma Foundation, the European Society for Sports traumatology, Knee surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), the International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SICOT), and the French Orthopaedic Society (SOFCOT).
He has published in many peer reviewed orthopaedic journals, has written book chapters, and has been a speaker at many international and regional meetings. He also serves as reviewer and/or member of the editorial board for several orthopaedic journals.
Dr Hage performs his procedures at Mount-Lebanon Hospital – Hazmieh, Clinique du Levant – Horsh-Tabet, and Al-Arz Hospital – Zalka. His private practice is located in Jdeideh – Nahr el Mot.
He has a special interest in joint reconstruction, with an emphasis on joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder. One of his main areas of interest is the Minimally Invasive Direct Anterior Approach Hip Replacement which he helped introduce to the region, as well as the Quick Recovery Programs in hip and knee replacement, making the whole surgical experience easier and less costly for the patient.
